This Model 629 Deluxe is a 6-round single action/double action 44 Magnum/44 Special revolver. Its large S&W N-Frame is all stainless steel – barrel, fluted cylinder, and frame; its heavy barrel is 6.5” long and 12” long overall; and its weight empty is 50.7 oz. Without doubt this Model 629, with its prominent full-length lug, is built to absorb recoil. Its finish is polished silver; and it wears a handsome set of hard wood checkered grips in the distinctive TALO Exclusive rosewood finish. This Model 629 Classic has a white outlined micrometer click-adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation; a serrated red ramp front sight and top strap; and an extra wide aggressively checkered hammer spur. This revolver is enhanced by its distinctive barrel lettering – “44 MAGNUM,” “629 CLASSIC,” and, of course, the standard “SMITH & WESSON.”

This 629, under today's original owner, has had exceptionally light use with only a couple of boxes of 44 Special target rounds fired with no 44 Magnum rounds fired other than factory test firing.
