.30 Army, commonly known as .30-40 Krag, was the first smokeless powder cartridge adopted by the U.S. Army (1892), featuring a rimmed case with a .30-caliber bullet and 40 grains of powder. The stock on this gun is cracked and some parts have been replaced over the years but, it is on good working order mechanically. This would be an awesome candidate to have professionally restored by Turnbull Restoration or similar.
