One can only hope this will be successful so that the Virginia law is nullified. https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/doj-sues-denver-over-unconstitutional-bans/On the magazine ban: Ex post facto laws—which retroactively penalize actions that were legal when committed, increase punishment, or alter evidence rules—are strictly forbidden by the U.S. Constitution. Both Congress and state legislatures are prohibited from passing these laws under Article I, Section 9, Clause 3, and Article I, Section 10, Clause 1, ensuring legal fairness and prohibiting arbitrary government punishment.
