I am posting this to warn the Virginia Gun Trader community about a seller called Dan who goes by @mcdnd03 on VAGT. He listed silver bars at 10% below spot price. We communicated through text followed by a phone call, he sent pictures of the silver, and we mutually agreed to a deal on Sunday June 7th in Petersburg for 110 ounces of silver.
I took this agreement seriously. I went to the bank and withdrew $7,000 cash in good faith, ready to complete the transaction. I have photographic proof of the cash withdrawal and all text message exchanges confirming our agreed deal.
This evening at around 1800, he called to back out - claiming he was selling on behalf of a 90-year-old neighbor who was suddenly unwilling to sell below a price of $70 / oz. This excuse appeared only after the silver spot price dropped today - a convenient coincidence. However, it could have also increased and I was totally committed to the deal regardless of the price going up or down.
To make matters worse, he immediately deleted his listing so others could not see it.
This is not how honorable members of this community conduct business. A deal is a deal. When you shake hands - or in this case, confirm in writing - you honor it. I have all text messages documented and available.
My advice: No matter how many positive feedbacks this seller has, do not do business with him. Actions speak louder than reputation.
-----------------------------------------
I may be new to VAGT, but my track record speaks for itself. Every deal I have committed to, I have honored without exception. Ask anyone who has transacted with me. When I give my word, it is ironclad. When I show up, the CASH is in hand.

I have two other members I will be calling out, with meticulously preserved evidence. That is a story for another day. You both know who you are. I hope those Arsenal AKs sold for more than what your credibility is worth - because that bar is pretty low.
