This is one of the 28K manufactured by Remington starting in January of 1943. Barrel is dated 2/43. Has scant stock made by Keystone and what looks like an original 1907 leather sling with steel hardware. Stock has no cracks but does have a few dings. Cannot see any cartouches on stock or date on sling. Has a period correct Weaver 29S scope instead of the Weaver 330C. This is an actual 1903A4 and not a regular ‘03-A3 someone drilled and tapped. Bore is very nice. $3425 or trade FTF Spotsy Courthouse/Lake Anna area. PM for pics.
