Just released MCO 0825.201
All Marines past and present upon death will no longer be authorized for cremation.
Their remains will henceforth be freeze dried and placed into a casket with a glass lid. The plaque shall read as follows.
MRF
"Marine Ready to Fight
In the event of war break glass and add Beer."
By order of the Commandant of the Marine Corps"
There is no better weapon on the battlefield than a Marine and his rifle.
Except a badly woken up drunken Marine with his rifle.
