As of July 1, you will not be able to purchase a firearm in a private transaction without a background check, so you've got less than a week to preserve your privacy. In addition, Spamburger's "assault handguns ban" will be in effect as of November 1, but you will be exempt if you own your "high capacity magazine" semiauto handgun before the ban, now subject to an injunction against enforcement, goes into effect December 31, 2026.
Any firearm you own before that time will be legal for you, but you won't be able to sell it.
All of these take standard 9x19 Luger 9mm
1. Ruger P89 full size, black all metal frame $600
2. Ruger P89 full size gray/black grip all metal frame $600
3. Ruger P94 full size gray/black grip all metal frame $600 (looks similar to P89)
Mags for all three Rugers include 10, 15, & 17 round capacity.
