The Guardian as an 18" survival blade is second to none. Firearms require ammo; swords do not. It is made of stainless steel and the handles are G10 composite. One side of the blade is intentionally blunt and non-lethal in case you want to injure but not kill. The blade's other side is most lethal.
The handle is 1 and a half hands long, so you can comfortably wield it with a single hand or get a second hand on there for more powerful blows. The GRN quick draw latching scabbard is complete with belt loops and 1-inch slots for MOLLE/PALS compatibility. Because the blade latches firmly into its scabbard, you can hang it upside down and the sword will still NOT drop out unless you bang it very hard.
