Up for sale or trade is an interesting Thompson style carbine from the late 60s. It’s a Volunteer Arms Commando Mk3 chambered in .45 acp. This one has a metal receiver and is one of the most desirable variants. These aren’t very common and seem to have a cult following.
It’s hefty and crudely made. It’s a simple blowback design and feeds from M3 grease gun mags (one will be included.) It accepts Thompson furniture and has a nice surplus set on it. I have yet to fire it but everything seems to work fine. The safety is finicky but that’s common with these.
$500 local to me meetup. No, I won’t randomly be in nova, Richmond, or tidewater next weekend and am not wanting to travel far.
For trades I’d be interested in other odd or interesting guns, cool rim fire guns, certain hunting rifles/shotguns, handguns, wheel guns, anything AK, surplus guns, quality electric guitars (Jackson, BC Rich, Gibson/Epiphone, etc.) That’s just what I can think of but am open to any reasonable trade. Just let me know what you have.
