For sale I have a WWI era Colt 1911. This is not an original unmodified pistol unfortunately. I bought it at a gunshop earlier this year and fired 1 magazine through it. The “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” mark has been removed and the pistol was reblued. Serial number dates this to 1918. The slide is still colt and reads “Model of 1911 U.S. Army” Multiple parts have been replaced on this pistol to include the grips, sights, and barrel bushing. Sights are now bomars, grips are pachmayr, and barrel bushing is made by micro. I have not been able to disassemble this pistol as I do not have a barrel bushing wrench and the barrel bushing is very tight. Someone also hand stippled the mainspring housing and front strap of the grip. I can only assume this was setup for target shooting or competition shooting. If interested send me your number for pictures will include one unmarked magazine.

Asking 950.00
