Saw 24 deer within easy shooting range yesterday morning! Unbelievable movement from before light until 10:00 a.m. I never got busted and had this deer and several of the other deer I saw walk directly underneath me in the tree. I had a monster 10 point walk by just as I got up the tree but hadn't even had a chance to pull my up gun yet. Awesome morning. Had to leave at 11:00 to go to somebody's 3rd wedding. Tried yelling, grunts, bleats, and couldn't get any of them to stop for a shot. He said it was almost organized. The smallest of the wall hangers came first, nose to the ground. Followed by the second biggest 10 mins later, and the monster 10 mins after that. Everyone seems to be on big deer but me

We get excited EVERY year when the bill is introduced and it never goes through all the way.

I had a nice one come in on me this evening with seconds left of shooting light. I was about to climb down right before I saw him. When I pulled my gun off my shoulder it made some noise and he spooked and took off quick. Just my luck, first dandy I have seen all year and I spook him, pretty much sums up this season so far for me though.
