Well in some ways I wouldn't blame him but deals are deals
He wanted a aimpoint I had for sale. I gave him a shipped price, and a couple days later he responds to a email I sent him asking if the deal is still on I haven't got the cash yet and he tells me his buddy sold him a aimpoint t1 cheap.
I'd rather have the t1 over a comp m2 naturally but I've made deals before and ended up sometimes short sticking myself on a comitment.
Moral of story.....this guy is prob a great guy after all the moment he read my email I sent he responded back and I appreciate that but if your dealing with him don't spend your money til you get it from him.

The only way I can see value in our 'off work' time is to go back to work, punch the clock on your time off...actually get paid for the time you would otherwise allot to handloading...that would be a value...but, you prolly wouldn't shoot as much.
