Just two cents, the notion of primers indicating that rounds are a safe pressure seems dubious to me. I could see how they might indicate gross overpressure, but nothing other than that. The same primers are used for cartridges that range from like a 17,000 psi limit to a 38,000 psi limit. How could the same primer provide valid feedback on both of those?

Same pressure in different volume case or different bullet weight or both can change the outcome. That's why primers are a good indicatir
