This is for the .357 Magnum. It's just under a full-house load and shoots accurately in every revolver or levergun that I've tried, including those from S&W, Ruger, Taurus, and Rossi.
Bullet: 158gr LRNFP (Lee 358-158-RF mould) Charge: 13.0gr 2400 powder Case: Mixed 357 Magnum headstamps, small primer (yes, there are a few large primer .357M cases floating about) Primer: You name it, I've probably tried it
Load characteristics:
It has some kick (duh, it's a .357M!), but not objectionably so for a 158gr load. It feels about like a 125gr factory load, actually. Out of a 4" revolver bbl, it chronos at just under 1200 fps.
All primers tested worked well, from CCI to Wolf/Tulammo and everything in between.
