So I moved out of VA for awhile, and only recently moved back, and my new home is 2miles from the NRA range. I am already a member of a few outdoor ranges, but I need an indoor range for mostly pistol reload testing (and anything closer than 25yards). Years ago, the NRA range was always SUPER busy. Most of my time there would be after work (say 415-545pm M-F)... Is this a busy time there? Years ago i was a member at Blue Ridge (not called Blackfish Armory), there range is like 5-6miles away and doable, but obviously further (and with traffic getting there). So, whats everyones thought on the NRA range these days?

Since Elite opened it not as busy as it once was. I would say you could go just about anytime and get a lane.

I ended up going after work last week one day, at least half the lanes were open at 415pm, so i was able to shoot for an hour, and still get my kid by 530 from preSchool, so it worked out. The front desk guys i asked said that was about a typical day, where it gets a little busy at 5-6 as thats prime after work time. I love that they are open till 10pm some night (that means I could go at 9pm and get some range time in).
