I recently acquired a 1911A1 in pristine condition.
In trying to verify some details, I did a SN lookup on Springfield Armory website.
Response from the site is that it was made in "1914".
I have difficulty believing this to be accurate information.
SN WW64193
Anyone have any information/recommendations for another source of SN lookup for details?
