This Sig P229 incorporates all the remarkable features of the world renowned P226 in a smaller, more compact package but with additional enhancements from its LEGION engineers. This P229 is a DA/SA semi-auto finished in LEGION Gray. Its slide is stainless steel; its barrel is carbon steel; its frame is alloy; it carries black G10 grips with LEGION medallions; is equipped with an accessory rail; and it is optic ready. This P229 has two small Trijicon white dots in the rear sight and one larger green Trijicon dot inset for the front sight – a sighting set that assures rapid target acquisition.

This P229 is combat ready with five 15-round factory steel mags. Its barrel is 3.9” long; its overall length is 7.4”; and it weighs 31.1 oz. Its beavertail is reduced and contoured to allow for a higher grip, but with a reduced profile to eliminate printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard assure a firm grip. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action or clearing the firearm. An enhanced polished action with a short-reset-trigger is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc. designed Precision Adjustable Intermediate Trigger (P-SAIT). Additionally, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where needed.

The condition of this P229 LEGION is extraordinary – fit, finish, and functionality are flawless. With only 320 rounds of light target 9mm ammo fired, this Sig is like new. Am the original owner, and this P229 was purchased new 03/2025. Regrettably, it quickly became a safe-queen contending with a long-standing range preference for revolvers.
