Orcus Group is a SOF veteran-owned company offering full-day firearms and medical training courses in Williamsburg, VA. Our company owner and lead instructor is a 10-year Navy SEAL veteran. Jim spent 20+ years post-service teaching firearms and medical for law enforcement and a major three-letter agency while also deploying as a contractor with the CIA. Jim is a certified NRA Law Enforcement Instructor.

Our Level I courses progress very quickly. By the afternoon, we move on from fundamentals and start covering intermediate skill sets. We accept courses from some other businesses as prerequisites for Level II courses on a case-by-case basis. Generally, we expect to see a similar 8-hour course of instruction.

Most of our courses are $250. Our medical course includes an IFAK in the cost of the course. Once you’ve completed a firearms course with us, we offer a 50% discount if you want to return and take that course again.

The range is a private property about 2 miles from the 64 Croaker Road exit in Williamsburg, VA. Our classroom is 10 minutes away from the range in Toano. At the request of the property owners, we only disclose the addresses to those interested in the courses.
