WW2 P-1907 Australian bayonet for the SMLE NO1 MKIII(from google), dated 10/43 on one side of the blade and British Broad Arrow acceptance mark with X OA (Orange Arsenal) on the other. The blade's approximately 17”, overall bayonet measures approximately 21.5”and when sheathed it measures approximately 22-5/8”. The blade retains 85% dark blue-black finish with wear at the tip. The blade has the factory edge and a working mortise button to attach to rifle. The leather scabbard is marked MANGROVITE 43.This Bayonet was likely used in the Pacific and used by some of the finest Soldiers in the World Please look over all the pictures carefully to judge the item for yourself. Has some freckling on the handle and scabbard, ASKING $100 based on the condition. I'm in Leesburg area and can meet up most days.
