Rewind back 110 years to 1915. Russia is an empire, modern day Finland is a part of it, and Russia and American are friends. Russia just started receiving orders of both Remington and New England Westinghouse Mosin-Nagant M91 rifles. Oh yea, and WW1 just started too.

Who knew that 110 years later, a certain rifle (with a few stories) would present itself to the fine members of this forum?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the Finnish M91 Mosin - Nagant.

Originally manufactured by Imperial Russia at the Tula - Peter the Great Factory, this rifle made it's way into Finnish service where it was upgraded and converted to Finnish standards. There are a lot of interesting little nuggets and markings that help tell the story, some of which are captured below.

HEX Receiver with Russian Eagles intact
Finnish two piece stock (no cracks) with older sling mounts
Finnish SA marked sling
Two (2) SA - Finnish Army Proof Marks
Serialized Cocking Tab
Mint Bore

Amazing collectible with a great story to tell.
