Setup a meet for tonight and i sent a text this morning to confirm only to be told it was sold in the morning???! These are becoming quite common so not sure what’s goin on nowadays. They also never marked the post as SPF or Sold. Maybe they’re fishing for higher offer?

To clarify, after not receiving a timely response, I received a positive and confirmed response from another buyer who was ready to proceed immediately. Based on that confirmation, the item was sold that same morning.
As the seller, I have the right to proceed with the transaction with the buyer who responds promptly and commits first. This was not about fishing for higher offers. It was simply completing a transaction with a serious buyer after a lack of response.
Please do not leave negative feedback simply because you missed a good deal. A transaction never took place between us.

You stated that you would like to buy, but you never committed to the transaction after my last message. Many buyers say they will buy and then disappear, so without a clear commitment, the item was not held.
