I am not the first owner, so I can't give you a round count, but the two wear marks on the top of the barrel hood are not nearly as bright as they appear in the photo and the front portion of the barrel where it rubs the slide shows no wear at all.

I added a safety and the Wilson Combat grip frame accommodates the safety. If you don't like using a safety, (it's too stiff to engage accidentally) just don't use it, but if a safety truly offends you, remove it and use the original grip frame. It's truly a drop-in part and requires no tools other than a pin punch to release the fire control module.
