This Garrison model is an all-steel 1911 with low-profile 3-dot combat sights; a skeletonized hammer; a traditional barrel bushing assembly; an extended beavertail grip safety; a hammer-forged match grade barrel; checkered wood grips for total shooter control; an adjustable trigger with a short take-up; and a matte finish on the rounds with a high polish on the stainless steel flats. This rock solid Garrison weighs 33 oz; thus, assuring a mild recoil and a rapid target reacquisition. Springfield Armory shipped this classic Garrison with one traditional 7-round magazine – four more factory mags were added for a total of five.

This is an attractive 1911. Its checkered wood grips feature a double diamond pattern with the Crossed Cannons logo; it has a serrated backstrap, trigger, hammer, and mag release; 18 slide grooves left and right; and a flawless highly polished stainless steel frame having been a safe-queen with sparse range time – this Garrison has the look of a new-in-the-box1911.
