This is a very nice Model 1916 Spanish Mauser. Most of these rifles, when found, are crappy all over. Most of the stocks where destroyed after import so a Spanish 1916 with original stock is very rare. This example does have its original stock in great shape. All matching with a great bore. The crest is a little wore down, but still can be read, again better than most. Still in Original 7mm mauser. Really clean 1916s do not come around very often.

Comes with an original bayonet of unusual design. Most of these bayonets, when short, do not have markings like these, which is typical of the long bayonet. There is reason to believe that this bayonet most likely came through the Bannerman buy out of Spanish gear and originally was intended for an 1893, which is also correct for a 1916. Bayonet is nice and clean also.

Comes with stripper clips, Ammo Pouch, Sling, and 20 round of 7mm Mauser.
