Negative feedback for a failed transaction.

Buyer contacted me about purchasing two items, the PlumCrazy rifle and drum magazine. We confirmed the price at $434 for both items and began coordinating a meetup. The original discussion was for Tuesday or Wednesday, but the buyer later changed the plan to a same-day meetup around the Walmart / 2nd & Charles / Chili’s area on 360.

I adjusted my schedule and agreed to meet him there. The buyer later said he was at Walmart and would be leaving soon, so I started driving over. I texted that I was on my way and then that I had arrived. I also gave my vehicle/location information. There was confusion about the exact parking area, and I attempted to call him to resolve it, but he did not answer.

The buyer then left before the transaction could be completed. Later, he texted that I was “just going to have to leave negative feedback,” and then later apologized and offered to meet another day.

I understand that family timing and logistics can get messy, but from my side this was a committed transaction where I adjusted my schedule, drove to the agreed area, attempted to resolve the confusion in real time, and the buyer left before completing the deal. Communication was polite overall, but the transaction was unreliable and resulted in a wasted trip and failed sale.

Yes, some of this did happen this way but there is more information to be added to this transaction. I did say to meet there because my wife wanted to go out to eat and then shop, we showed up to chili's and had then said to meet up around the 2:30 time because of how long it was taking for the six of us to get a table.

Which then I was told was fine since he was right across the street. So we got done eating and I got cash and texted at 2:19 saying this, which I thought would then mean we were about to meet but no not yet. At a minute later I got a reply text saying, " okay, we just picked up some snails from petsmart", so Im thinking okay he is on the way which was good since I was trying to break some big bills.

Well, after 14 minutes at 2:34 I replied with "okay", it was seen but I never got a reply. So I continued to walk around the front of the store to get change. So then at 2:55 I texted stating that we are about done, which we were at the checkout, the stores air was out, they were doing a remodel or something so all the drink fridges were unplugged and was still trying to break a bill. Also only two registers were manned and all else were self checkout.

So then I get a quick reply stating that he wasn't even here and I guess at home and was going to start to head this way, way after our time of 2:30, and then about meeting somewhere at some back parking lot area and a vehicle description.

I replied back at 2:58 that I hope he was on his way as well were done, I gave my wife the keys after helping get everything scanned, and was still trying to get change. Plus that we were parked at the right of the entrance where all the pickup spots were located, Then I got a reply that he would be there unless than five minutes, I replied that I was trying to still get change, was in line at subway to buy a drink. Then got a text that he could take credit cards and then that he was there parked at the back parking lot, which I didnt really didnt completely pay attention to since I was trying to deal with those at subway and texting with my wife about leaving. This was at 3:01 and 3:03 respectively.

Then at 3:04 I had replied that my wife and kids were heading out, which I missed typed as they were already out at the car, loading it and was the maroon pilot where I said we were parked. Which then I got a thumbs up to my text but no reply.

So this was just a crazy event as when I got out the two youngest were going crazy, wife was upset that she was doing the groceries and everything when this deal should've already transpired.

So yes it didn't happen but I believe a lot of that is because someone was trying to couch potatoe a deal, when already out getting snails from pets mart why didn't one come to Walmart after instead of going home, especially when I had said that our initial time to meet up to be at, or around 2:30? Just seems strange saying that I ruined someone else's schedule when they were just at home anyway.
