Rock Island Armory/RIA/Armscor M1911-A1 full size .45 ACP 1911 pistol (M1911-A1 FS). This is a very rare, number one-of-one Commemorative "One Team Memorial" edition. Created in the memory of the 30 military service members (many of whom were members of the Navy SEAL community) and one military K9 when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was downed in Afghanistan on 8/6/2011. This is a custom one-off and is the only one ever made!\

Originally purchased on Sept 5, 2015 at a charity event sponsored by 31Heroes Project and Seal Future Fund in Virginia Beach, VA. This one of a kind edition 1911 pistol was designed and auctioned by them to celebrate the lives of our nation's fallen heroes and to encourage support for military veterans and their families. The event was held at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach and also included the One Team Memorial Motorcycle Ride.
