This member (harleyman959798)and I had an agreed upon price, location, time, and date right down to the vehicles we drive. He even offered to get me the exact address of the Home Depot meeting location. Everything above-board, communicated and clear. There was one caveat, this person works in a role where he is “on-call 24/7”, well same here. Thats an acceptable condition that can affect logistics. I am also the one making a 212mi round-trip. It is a big ticket item he was purchasing. The evening before our set morning meeting, he texts me and he has a work emergency. OK, I start offering solutions to the logistics issue. I gave multiple options for adjusting the meet over the next week or so. Then a banking problem was introduced to the equation. I gave a couple of options on the banking side that would work for almost anybody. I even floated the idea he write a check for the remainder just to see what his answer would be lol. There were absolutely no options that this person would or could accept to uphold the deal…his only suggestion was an additional 30% reduction in price. So we went from work/logistical problem that eliminated any possible meet in the future, to banking problems, lowball offer, to him stating I would find another buyer. Well, the post was marked sold so I have to wait a week to re-post.
This person would not come out and say the truth. He decided he did not want to honor the deal. If this person would have owned it and said that, stuff happens. I wouldn’t be writing my first negative feedback after 7+ years.
I was 100% transparent, answered all questions and provided all answers swiftly and clearly. Every comm is on VGT or in text, so there is no question about the veracity of my feedback. I feel no need to slander this member, just warn others of this interaction. I let it slide that you felt the need to state “No games, serious buyer” and such to me. I’m the one that gave you the chance. Shame on me for that.

You been waiting for this huh? I spoke nothing but the truth here and on text and your response is typical of somebody that is trying to save their own skin. You know what you did and you know your reputation on this site didn’t need all that much help for me ruining it even further. Good luck with you and Mr. Wonka
