This WW2 German DAF Labour Front Wartime Production Factory Banner is in very good condition overall and only shows modest signs of age, handling and long-term storage.

The only marking that can be found on this banner is on one of it's attachment straps, a faint ink stamp appearing to read "Z D. R. G." is present. This is very close to the common "D.R.G.M." patent stamp found on many items produced before and during World War 2. Approximate size 59" X 39". No serious rips, tears, holes or stains can be noticed however there is one tiny tear that can be detected in the bottom left-hand corner of the banner as well as a few small stains and two small holes on the backside. All stitching appears strong and intact. The red, black and white material is very clean and still vibrant in color tone. The band of silver material that frames the banner is very clean and no signs of damage from abuse or neglect are present. The strip of tassels on the lower edge of the banner are clean and all securely attached. All straps and metal hardware is present, clean and functional. Of interest, this banner was part of a collection brought home by a US Marine from Virginia who served in the European Theater of Operations.

This banner would make a fine addition to any advanced WW2 German collection and would very difficult to upgrade. More photos available upon request. $2000 OBO
