I'm not sure if this is where I should post this on the board but I wanted to let you guys know my father Darrell "dadcpu" passed away September 11th. He spoke very highly about a bunch of y'all on the board. He will be missed by all he interacted with. Miss you Dad.

Darrell was one of the first members of the forum I met at a gun show many many years ago. It was always a pleasant gun show day at the Richmond Raceway with him behind the table. He will be missed.

Damn , Darrell introduced me to the M1 Garand in more detail as well as the 1903 , which in turn I acquired my own over the years after shooting his , going to miss arguing with him and being told I’m a young punk and hearing back in his day crap while he was standing there smoking a cigarette while I cut and split firewood  , rest in peace old man see ya on the other side …………..

Sad to hear this. My condolences to you and your family. He was a fun guy to make a deal with. We could have talked for hours after every deal. I will miss him but I will also have good memories of the fun times. Rest in peace.

RIP Darrell, One if the finest I ever met here. What a loss for Virginia Gun Trader and everyone he knew. Ill never forget finally meeting him in person on Lobby day . I got my 1st 410 from him a bolt action Blonde Savage. I think it was probably decade ago, BobVA muled it up. Both great dudes.
