Going by the date I acquired this rifle it would have been serviced by Gus of Gus’s Garands. He used to setup at shows and as an ex army shooting team armorer would use his knowledge, and tools, to do a 100% check of a Garand at the show for $40 and replace anything that was out of spec.

Note on “They have them at The CMP” The CMP has drastically raised prices and are selling reclaimed receivers. In Store you cannot get anything for less that $1050 and that is for a roached out example on a reclaimed receiver. In store locally you are not going to get near one for less than $1500 and that is a mix master with no accessories in both cases.

Trades to be conducted at Freedom shooting or Echoes of Glory – No background check needed, just friendly spaces to do it at

I am listing multiple rifles so a group trade is always on the table. Can add more Ammo for the right trade also to get total right.

Cash Price : $1600
