6.5x55 Nature points out the folly of men Registered: 12/09/08 Posts: 4078 Loc: Ashland City or County: Hanover	This is an antique under US and VA laws. US military rifle turned into a hunting gun. 23" barrel, original stock cut down wirh no remaining cartouches. Original sights replaced with buckhorn rear and ramp front. Finish remains on part of the bolt group and area that was under the handguard. Most of the finish is thin but not spotted. Bore is very clean and bright. Leather sling is included. The Krag action is the smoothest bolt action US military rifle made. 5 round magazine. It is a pretty compact open sight gun that packs 33% more powder than a .30-30 into a classic gun. Ftf near Bass Pro. Va residents with clean ID. This is the 1st US smokeless powder military rifle. It is 135 years old. $675 and will consider a Ruger SP101 3" as partial trade. Other trades possible but no Glocks or clones, no Mossbergs, no Mosins, no .40 cal. Thanks I might be at the Richmond Showplace show on Saturday next week. This is not a modern gun so no 4473.
