I rescued this gun from the most hideous sporter stock I have ever seen and put it in a surplus israeli stock. Besides the stock everything matches except the bolt handle which is one number off. The bore and crown are in great shape and it is a great shooter.

Apparently these were made for the SS from surplus Gew 98s. It has the two death head stamps that are supposed to help authenticate it.

I would like to trade this rifle for a 12 gauge auto 5 or remington model 11 that is in working condition.
